Amazon MGM Studios Reorganizes TV Arm Around Genre Specialties

Amazon MGM Studios’ TV chief Peter Friedlander is reshaping the division from a split wholly owned/co-production model to genre-based teams (drama/comedy, worldbuilding, animation, unscripted). Laura Lancaster and Nick Pepper are exiting; Blair Fetter will join as Head of Worldbuilding & Genre Series, reporting to Friedlander, with Jenn Levy and Melissa Wolfe continuing in unscripted and animation, respectively. An interim leadership for drama & comedy is in place while a new head is named. The goal is faster, sharper creative decisions and a structure aligned with industry norms.
