"WWE Executives Accused of Knowing About Ashley Massaro's Rape Claim"

The late Ashley Massaro's rape allegation has resurfaced, with John Laurinaitis' lawyer admitting that Laurinaitis and others at WWE knew about the claim. WWE had previously denied the allegation, but a WWE doctor's account and statements from another former wrestler support claims of a toxic culture at the company. The Naval Criminal Intelligence Service opened an investigation into Massaro's allegations in 2019, and various statements from former WWE wrestler Paul London also allege harassment by Vince McMahon. WWE's parent company declined to comment on the allegations.
