Teen's Clever Ruse: Fake House Sale for Travis Scott's Utopia

Charles Curle, a 17-year-old video editor from North Carolina, tricked millions of people on TikTok into believing that he sold his house to finance a trip to Travis Scott's now-canceled Utopia concert in Egypt. In an eight-second video, Curle filmed himself jiggling keys in front of his house and added text and music to make it appear as if he had sold his house. The video went viral, garnering millions of views, and while some were amused, others were skeptical or distressed. Curle, who isn't even a Scott fan, saw it as entertainment and a way to challenge people's sense of reality.
