"King Charles III and Future Heirs Pose for Coronation Portrait"

Buckingham Palace released an official portrait of newly crowned King Charles III alongside his heirs, son Prince William and grandson Prince George. The photo was taken in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace just hours after the coronation ceremony ended. While the trio have posed together for official portraits before, this is the first time they’ve done it without Queen Elizabeth II. The last time the late queen posed with her immediate heirs was in January 2020, two years before her death.
