Prince Harry made a brief stop at Buckingham Palace while en route to Heathrow Airport after his father's coronation, but did not wait to see or speak to any members of his family. The visit lasted less than half an hour and was for logistical reasons, allowing Harry to take a moment out of the public gaze following the two-hour Abbey service. He did not even change out of his morning suit and medals before leaving for his flight, which some saw as a symbol of his desperation to leave the UK.
