Tom Ford's $52 Million Purchase: Jackie Kennedy's Childhood Home in the Hamptons

Fashion mogul Tom Ford has purchased a historic East Hamptons estate, known as Jackie Kennedy's childhood home, for $52 million. The property, named Lasata, sits on a 7-acre parcel of land and features an eight-bedroom main home, a two-bedroom guesthouse, a caretaker's cottage, a pool house, and a three-car garage. The estate was originally listed for $55 million and was previously owned by fashion designer Reed Krakoff. Ford, who recently sold his fashion label for $2.8 billion, also owns properties in Palm Beach, Holmby Hills, New York City, London, and Santa Fe.
