Kanye West's Gutted Malibu Mansion Listed for $53 Million

Kanye West is selling his Tadao Ando-designed beachfront house in Malibu for $53 million, after purchasing it for $57.3 million in 2021. The four-bedroom property has been gutted by West, requiring several million dollars to redo the interiors. However, the concrete exterior, a signature of Ando's work, remains intact. The 4,000-square-foot house features ocean views from every room and is made from approximately 1,200 tons of concrete. Ando is known for his museum structures and has designed only a few houses in the United States.
