Matthew Perry Foundation Continues Late Actor's Legacy in Supporting Addiction Recovery

Friends actor Matthew Perry's friends have launched the Matthew Perry Foundation to support individuals struggling with addiction, continuing Perry's lifelong advocacy efforts. The foundation, which Perry had planned to launch before his death, will be managed by the National Philanthropic Trust and is now accepting donations. Perry, who openly spoke about his own addiction struggles, lobbied Congress for drug courts and transformed his former mansion into a sober living facility. He was honored for his advocacy efforts and posthumously released a memoir discussing his addiction battles.
