Hungry student devours $120k banana artwork

A college student in Seoul, Korea, ate a $120,000 banana artwork by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, which was on display at Leeum Museum of Art, because he was hungry. The student downed the piece of fruit in less than a minute before re-taping the peel on the wall. The museum replaced the eaten artwork with a new piece of fruit. The student is reportedly not being charged for the incident. Maurizio Cattelan is known for his provocative artwork, including a fully functional 18-karat gold toilet called "America," which has since been stolen.
