Seattle Mourns the Loss of Weather Anchor Steve Pool to Alzheimer's

Steve Pool, the beloved weatherman and broadcasting pioneer at KOMO 4 in Seattle, has passed away at the age of 70 after battling an illness. Pool began his career at the station as an intern in 1974 and went on to become the chief weatherman in 1984. He was known for his charismatic personality and was even featured in GQ magazine. After 42 years, Pool retired from television in 2019. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
