Remembering Innocent: The Legendary Actor Who Fought Cancer with a Smile

Veteran Malayalam actor Innocent, known for his comedic roles, passed away at the age of 75 after battling cancer for several years. In his illustrious career spanning over 50 years, Innocent acted in 750+ films and was the president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists from 2003 to 2018. He was praised for his ability to effortlessly adopt any persona and reveal all of its nuances. Even while battling cancer, Innocent never missed an opportunity to make people laugh and was one of the first Malayalam celebrities to openly discuss his battle with cancer. His final movie, Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum, will be released posthumously on April 28.
