Disney Executive Dave Hollis Died of Accidental Drug Overdose, Autopsy Reveals

Dave Hollis, former Disney executive and ex-husband of self-help author Rachel Hollis, died of an accidental overdose with fatal amounts of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol in his system. He had a history of drug and alcohol abuse, depression, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. The couple separated in 2020 after 18 years of marriage, but remained close friends and business partners. Hollis oversaw the release of "Black Panther" and the "Star Wars" franchise before leaving Disney in 2018.
