Wolfgang Van Halen made a joke in the liner notes of his upcoming album, Mammoth II, crediting his uncle Patrick Bertinelli with operating a Wah Wah pedal on one of the tracks. However, the joke ended up delaying the album cover approval process by a day and costing $1 for a work-for-hire agreement. Despite his manager's disapproval, Van Halen found the joke funny and is considering similar jokes in the future, such as having his uncle Al play the glockenspiel on a track.
