The Script co-founder and guitarist Mark Sheehan dies at 46.

Mark Sheehan, the guitarist and co-founder of Irish rock band The Script, has died at the age of 46 after a brief illness. Sheehan formed the band with lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue and drummer Glen Power in 2001. The Script released six studio albums and a Greatest Hits compilation album in 2021. Tributes from across the music industry have been pouring in for Sheehan, who was described as a "much loved husband, father, brother, bandmate and friend".
