Taylor Swift Shatters Vinyl Sales Record with '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

Taylor Swift's re-recorded album "1989 (Taylor's Version)" has broken the modern-era single-week vinyl sales record, selling over 1.1 million copies in the U.S. in its first six days of release. Of that total, vinyl sales accounted for 580,000, marking the largest sales week for a vinyl album since tracking began in 1991. The album is also expected to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, which would give Swift her 13th No. 1 album. Additionally, the streaming edition of the album generated over 337 million on-demand official streams in its first six days.
