Taylor Swift received the Innovator Award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, presented by Phoebe Bridgers. Swift thanked her fans for following her as she switches genres and re-records her old music, and encouraged young people to give themselves permission to fail. She also won Song of the Year for "Anti-Hero." The Innovator Award is given to artists who have impacted global pop culture throughout their career, and past recipients include Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, U2, and Alicia Keys.
