Sufjan Stevens Unveils 'Javelin': New Album and Single

Sufjan Stevens has announced his upcoming album "Javelin," his first album of new original songs since 2020. The album features a cover of Neil Young's "There's A World" and showcases '70s studio opulence with morphing arrangements and a cast of backup vocalists. The lead single, "So You Are Tired," blends different musical styles and explores themes of sadness and bitterness. "Javelin" will be accompanied by a 48-page book of art and essays created by Stevens. The album is set to release on October 6th.
