Sexual Assault Lawsuit Filed Against Anti-Flag's Justin Sane

Anti-Flag's Justin Sane is being sued for sexual assault by former fan Kristina Sarhadi, who also filed a lawsuit against the band, claiming they had a duty to protect fans. Sarhadi came forward in July, detailing a harrowing encounter with Sane in 2010. The lawsuit alleges that Sane used his platform to groom and assault vulnerable girls. Rolling Stone later published an investigation where 12 more women accused Sane of predatory behavior and sexual assault. The band disbanded after the allegations surfaced. The lawsuit was filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act, which allows victims of sexual offenses to file civil suits regardless of the statute of limitations.
