Rock Hall 2026 Nominates a Diverse, Star-Studded Lineup

Rock Hall reveals a 17-performer slate for its 2026 induction, spanning rap, metal, R&B, hip-hop, Britpop and pop, with Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, INXS, Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross and Shakira among the nominees. The list also includes Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, Pink, New Edition, Sade and Wu-Tang Clan, plus The Black Crowes and Oasis. Ten nominees are first-timers: Buckley, Collins, Etheridge, Hill, INXS, New Edition, Pink, Shakira, Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan. Inductees will be announced in April, with honors split across three special committees (Musical Influence, Musical Excellence, and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award); eligibility requires a first commercial release at least 25 years prior, and more than 1,200 industry professionals will vote. Last year’s inductees included Cyndi Lauper, Outkast and others.
