Mick Mars sues Motley Crue bandmates over alleged mistreatment and financial disputes.

Mick Mars, the guitarist and co-founder of Motley Crue, has filed a lawsuit against the band, claiming they ousted him and cut him out of profits. Mars claims he retired only from touring due to his ongoing battle with ankylosing spondylitis, but the band decided to "fire" him via a shareholders' meeting as an officer of Crüe's corporation and six other related businesses. Mars has asked a judge to allow him to inspect the band's business records and to be awarded attorneys' fees and other unspecified money. The lawsuit also alleges that the bandmates fake their performances and make business decisions without informing other musicians.
