KATSEYE’s Manon Gets Star-Studded Backing Amid Hiatus

Manon Bannerman of KATSEYE announced a temporary hiatus to focus on her health and wellbeing, with HYBE/Geffen posting a supportive Weverse message and Manon later reiterating she’s healthy. In the days since, a wave of public support from peers including Leigh-Anne, SZA, Kehlani, Tiffany Haddish, Chloe Bailey and Melody Thornton—and others—has flooded social media, highlighting ongoing conversations about racism and colorism affecting Black members in groups. The group plans to continue some activities on hiatus, ahead of their Coachella debut.
