Foo Fighters invited Taylor Hawkins' son, Shane Hawkins, to play the drums during their performance of "I'll Stick Around" at the Boston Calling music festival. The band's frontman, Dave Grohl, also brought up his daughter, Violet Grohl, to contribute vocals for two songs. The set marked the band's first performance since introducing Josh Freese as their next drummer, although it's unclear if he'll be a permanent member. The band is gearing up for the release of their upcoming album, "But Here We Are," their first since Hawkins' death in March 2022.
