Foo Fighters Announce New Drummer After Year-Long Search.

Josh Freese has been named as the new drummer for Foo Fighters, over a year after the death of Taylor Hawkins. Freese, a session drummer and longtime friend of lead singer Dave Grohl, played with the band during tribute shows to Hawkins. The announcement was made during the band's "Preparing Music for Concerts" livestream, teasing their 11th studio album. The band is set to start its summer tour on May 24 and release their album "But Here We Are" on June 2.
