Drummer Jay Weinberg Departs from Slipknot

Slipknot has announced that they have parted ways with drummer Jay Weinberg after ten years. The band expressed their gratitude for his contributions and honored Joey Jordison's original sound, but stated their intention to evolve creatively. Weinberg played his final show with Slipknot on November 3. Slipknot had previously split with Jordison in 2013, and he passed away in July 2021. The band recently added a new keyboardist and announced the departure of longtime member Craig Jones.
