Denny Laine, Moody Blues and Wings Co-Founder, Dies at 79

Denny Laine, the British singer-guitarist known for his work with Paul McCartney & Wings and the Moody Blues, has passed away at the age of 79 after battling interstitial lung disease. Laine had a successful career with the Moody Blues before joining Wings, where he played a significant role in the band's success and co-wrote their hit single "Mull of Kintyre." He continued to release solo albums and tour throughout his career. Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues in 2018.
