Coldplay Fights Back: Sues Former Manager for $17 Million

Coldplay is countersuing their former manager, Dave Holmes, for $17 million, accusing him of mismanaging their Music of the Spheres tour. The band claims that Holmes allowed $10 million to be spent on unusable stage pylons and an oversized screen. They also allege that Holmes borrowed $20 million from tour promoter Live Nation for a property development in Canada. Holmes had previously sued Coldplay for over $12 million in unpaid commission.
