Brad Arnold, Frontman of 3 Doors Down, Passes Away at 47

Brad Arnold, founder and lead singer of the Mississippi rock band 3 Doors Down, died at 47 after a battle with Stage 4 kidney cancer that had metastasized to his lung. He reportedly died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his wife and family, and had recently canceled the band’s summer tour following his diagnosis. Arnold wrote Kryptonite as a teenager and helped form 3 Doors Down in Escatawpa, Mississippi in 1996.
