Coi Leray paid homage to past and present female rappers with a custom black-and-white look during her performance at the 2023 BET Awards. Her outfit featured the names of icons and new stars alike, including Left-Eye, Queen Latifah, Doja Cat, Missy Elliott, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and more. The tribute came after Leray called for female rappers to unite for a collaboration. She had a minor strife with Latto, but the two have since cleared the air.
