Bachman-Turner Overdrive Guitarist Tim Bachman Dies at 71.

Tim Bachman, founding guitarist of Canadian classic rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, has died at the age of 71 after suffering from brain cancer. Bachman played on the band's first two albums and co-wrote some of their most popular songs, including "Blue Collar" and "Let It Ride." He left the band in 1974 and rejoined in 1984, also leading touring versions of BTO in the late '80s. Bachman was charged twice with sexually assaulting children in recent years, but was found not guilty in one case and had charges stayed in another.
