The final nominees for the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards were announced, with Kane Brown leading the pack with five nominations, including entertainer of the year. Ashley Gorley received three nominations in the song of the year category, while Cole Swindell received five nominations. Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett were snubbed for female and male artist of the year, respectively. Jelly Roll, who swept the CMT Music Awards, did not receive any nominations. Jason Aldean makes a surprise return to the entertainer of the year category after a five-year absence.
