Angela Bassett to Finally Receive Honorary Oscar

Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks, Carol Littleton, and Michelle Satter will receive honorary Oscars at this year's Governors Awards. Bassett, who recently received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," is recognized for her contributions to the film industry. Brooks, a renowned director and EGOT winner, previously won an Oscar for "The Producers." Littleton, an editor, and Satter, a Sundance Institute executive, will also be honored. The awards ceremony will take place on November 18th.
