South Park creators spend $40 million on Casa Bonita restoration

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the new owners of Casa Bonita, spent over $40 million on the restoration of the Lakewood Mexican restaurant, according to an interview with the New York Times. The renovation work included adding four new bars and giving Black Bart's Cave a more clear narrative. The exterior of the building also required 27 tries to get the shade of pink just right. More than 100,000 people have signed up for reservations, but there is still no official opening date or pricing.
