"Star Wars Weddings Take Over May 4th Celebrations"

Seven couples in Akron, Ohio, celebrated May the Fourth, a holiday for Star Wars fans, by getting married in 15-minute ceremonies officiated by a judge from the Akron Municipal Court. The couples dressed in traditional garments, with some opting for Star Wars-themed attire, and exchanged vows in front of family and friends. The event was held at the Highland Universal Gathering Spot in Akron, and is one of many tributes to the Star Wars franchise that take place on May the Fourth each year.
