Keke Palmer Opens Up About Her Fluid Sexuality and Gender Identity

Keke Palmer opened up about her confusion regarding her sexuality and gender identity while accepting the Vanguard Award at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's The Center Gala. She shared that she never felt straight enough, gay enough, woman enough, or man enough, and that she has sometimes shifted the way she carries herself in pursuit of positive feedback. Keke also questioned why her gender had to define the power she has in the world and why it gets to decide her sexuality. She expressed gratitude for being embraced by a community that she has always felt accepted by and a part of.
