Former Rep. George Santos Sues Jimmy Kimmel Over Prank Cameo Videos

Former U.S. Rep. George Santos has filed a lawsuit against Jimmy Kimmel, ABC, and Walt Disney Co., alleging that Kimmel deceived him into creating videos on the Cameo app that were used to mock him on the show. Santos, who was expelled from the House of Representatives last year, is suing for copyright infringement, fraudulent inducement, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment, seeking $750,000 in damages for the five videos played on the show and social media. Santos faces criminal charges, including defrauding campaign donors, and Democrat Tom Suozzi won a special election for his former seat.
