"Prince Harry Settles Mirror Tabloid Phone Hacking Case for Substantial Payout"

Prince Harry has been awarded an interim payment of £400,000 ($504,142) and "substantial" further damages in his phone hacking case against The Mirror, bringing the suit to a close. The Mirror Group Newspapers has agreed to pay the prince damages and all of the costs of his claim, including individual and common costs. Harry sued MGN alleging that more than 30 stories printed about him dating back to the early 2000s had been written as a result of "unlawful information gathering." He will continue to fight back against the tabloid press, stating that he believes in the positive change it will bring for all.
