"Duct Tape Suit: Utah Teen's Chance at $10,000 Prize"

Ian Hernandez Rojas, a high school senior from Taylorsville, Utah, is a top ten finalist in the 23rd annual Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest, where students are challenged to create and wear prom outfits made entirely from duct tape. Rojas, who used over 15 rolls of duct tape and various materials, created a Mayan-inspired tuxedo as a tribute to his Salvadoran roots. The winner in each category will receive $10,000 in college scholarships. Rojas, who enjoys sewing as a hobby, hopes to pursue a career in designing and fashion. Voting ends on July 12, and winners will be announced on July 19.
