Regé-Jean Page, star of Bridgerton and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, revealed in an interview that he grew up playing RPG classics such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Breath of Fire. Page plays a paladin in the movie, but it's unclear how he was able to play these games as they weren't released in the UK until their respective ports. Other cast members on Bridgerton also have connections to video games, including Jonathan Bailey who voices a character in Final Fantasy XIV and Justice Smith who starred in Detective Pikachu.
