Kick's Landmark Deal with xQc and Amouranth Shakes Up Twitch Streaming Scene

Kick, a new streaming platform, has poached Twitch's top male and female streamers, xQc and Amouranth, within 48 hours with reportedly huge contracts and a 95-5 revenue split for "normal" creators. Twitch's recent policy of not allowing cross-streaming between platforms has made it impossible for these streamers to appear on Twitch. While Kick's long-term prospects are uncertain, Twitch's revenue-sharing policies have been criticized, and many smaller streamers are also considering moving to Kick.
