EA's New Studio to Develop Single-Player Black Panther Game

EA has officially announced the development of a single-player Black Panther game in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is being developed by Cliffhanger Games, a new Seattle studio led by former Monolith Productions boss Kevin Stephens. The studio aims to provide players with more agency and control over their narrative in the story-driven video game. The game will be a third-person game set in the expansive and reactive world of Wakanda, exploring the experience of taking on the mantle of Black Panther. This is the second Black Panther game in development, with the other being Amy Hennig's Marvel project at Skydance New Media. The game is still in the early stages of development.
