Wes Anderson's 'Asteroid City' Takes Over Theaters with Mixed Reviews.

Wes Anderson's latest film, Asteroid City, opens in six locations in New York and Los Angeles, with a major marketing campaign by Focus Features. Landmark Theatres' Sunset will take over the entire space for an exclusive two-week immersive experience, showing the film on all five screens. Specialty exhibitors, including Alamo Drafthouse and Angelika, are also offering promotions and merchandise. The film premiered at Cannes and will expand to around 1,500 runs next week.
