Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, released 15 years ago, is considered the last of a dying breed of direct-to-video sci-fi sequels that captured the spirit of the original 1997 classic. Directed by Edward Neumeier, the writer of the first film, the sequel brought back Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico and returned to the satirical and camp elements of the original.
