Star-Studded Marrakech Film Festival Opens with 'The Order'

Luca Guadagnino, serving as jury president at the Marrakech Film Festival, expressed his connection to Morocco, citing his Algerian mother's upbringing in Casablanca. During the festival's opening, he highlighted his personal bond with the country and its influence on his cinematic vision. The festival features a prestigious jury and a lineup of notable filmmakers, with Guadagnino's latest film "Queer" receiving acclaim. The event will showcase 70 films from 32 countries, including 12 Moroccan films.
