Deadline reports Alfred Hitchcock’s 1927 silent classic The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog is being reframed as a vertical, mobile-first microdrama and is now available in the U.S. on Tattle TV, marking one of the first classic features adapted for vertical video. Licensing restrictions prevent UK/EU access to the vertical version, but the U.S. release targets modern mobile audiences; The Lodger, Hitchcock’s first major film about a serial killer, is being repurposed by UK startup Tattle to bridge cinema history with today’s platforms.
