"Daisy Ridley Shines in the Suspenseful 'The Marsh King's Daughter'"

In "The Marsh King's Daughter," Daisy Ridley plays Helena, a woman whose peaceful life is disrupted when her violent criminal father, Jacob (played by Ben Mendelsohn), escapes from prison and comes after her. Raised in the wilderness by her father, Helena's loyalty is torn between her mother and the man she idolized. The film, based on Karen Dionne's novel, is marketed as a psychological thriller but lacks depth in its exploration of the characters.
