Chastain and Pine Lead MeToo-Era Drama Adapted From Mary Gaitskill

Jessica Chastain and Chris Pine will star in This Is Pleasure, a MeToo-era drama adapted from Mary Gaitskill’s novella, directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. The screenplay by Nina Raine follows Margot as accusations unravel the career of her close friend, the publisher Quin, exploring loyalty, forgiveness or truth. Produced by Fremantle with Killer Films’ Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler, plus Freckle Films and Barry Linen Motion Pictures, the project will be sold worldwide by CAA Media Finance and The Veterans and introduced at the European Film Market.
