Baker and Yeoh Debut Sandiwara as Berlinale's Immersive Malaysian Drama

Oscar-winning director Sean Baker teams with Michelle Yeoh for Sandiwara, an immersive cinema experience created with fashion house Self-Portrait. Set in a Penang night market and featuring five characters, the film expands Malaysian culture beyond fashion into cinema, premiering at the Berlin Film Festival with a Feb. 13 screening and a Feb. 12 opening ceremony where Yeoh will receive the Honorary Golden Bear.
