"Assessing the Mediocre Remake of White Men Can't Jump"

The remake of the 1992 hit comedy "White Men Can't Jump" is slick and enjoyable, but lacks the edginess of the original. The new version follows the same storyline of two basketball hustlers teaming up, but with a safer and more generic approach. Directed by music video director Calmatic, the film features Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow in the lead roles. It's a fine movie, but not much different from what an AI would produce if asked to remake the original. "White Men Can't Jump" is now available on Disney+.
