Anne Hathaway Cast in Colleen Hoover's 'Verity' Adaptation for Amazon MGM

Anne Hathaway is set to star in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel "Verity," playing the titular character, Verity Crawford. Directed by Michael Showalter for Amazon MGM, the film will explore the dark secrets uncovered by a struggling writer hired to complete Verity's book series. The adaptation follows the success of Hoover's "It Ends With Us," and is part of Semi-Formal's first-look deal with Amazon MGM. The roles of Jeremy and Lowen are yet to be cast.
