"World Premieres and Tributes: Highlights of the 50th Telluride Film Festival Lineup"

The 50th Telluride Film Festival lineup has been announced, featuring world premieres of films such as "Saltburn," "The Bikeriders," and "Rustin." The festival will also pay tribute to directors Yorgos Lanthimos and Wim Wenders. Despite ongoing Hollywood strikes affecting attendance, the festival's executive director, Julie Huntsinger, believes this is one of the strongest lineups yet. The festival will screen over 80 feature films, short films, and revival programs from 29 countries. However, Huntsinger also addresses the issue of rising costs and price gouging, stating that it is not sustainable and harms communities. The festival runs from August 31 to September 4.
